It´s funny how things work in the
book-world. Specially here in Nicaragua; you open your tiny little shop,
struggle to get books in a country where there are almost none, sell a few
books a day, try to make things go around, try new things, work hard, do some
small scale promotion...

The message said:
"I will be in Leon in March and
wonder if you'd like me to visit the store to talk about my time in Nicaragua
and my book "Blood of Brothers."" - Stephen Kinzer, 16th of Nov.
Butterflies in the stomach. And a little
scream of joy...
And so it is actually happening; Kinzer
is doing a book event for Búho Books on the 23rd of March (in only 4 days!).
The event will be in La Olla Quemada, our favourite bar that always supports
our book events, and located just half a block from my bookshop.
And
you better make your way to León for this day because this will be the only
book event he will be doing on this trip!
